Tasting Notes

This brew features a long lasting aromas of dark chocolate and roasted coffee.

Naming

Seal Cove has an interesting history with electricity, as Seal Cove River was the first major hydroelectric project for the United Towns Electric Company. The dam still operates today and is owned by Newfoundland Power who are the primary distributor of electrical on the island. Newfoundland Power receives majority of their electrical from NL Hydro who owns the “famous” Holyrood generating plant that can be seen from the Community. This stout is robust, full bodied with notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee! Seal Cove Steve approved!
